Philosophy: Difference between revisions

The purpose of this philosophy article is to create a guide to important philisophical idea spanning time, ideas, and peoples. It is both an introductory and advanced page for persons interested in any of the ideas of philosophy, and while at the moment it may be missing a couple of features, it is up to those fluent in these philosophical books to insert and revise information as the need may arise.

An Overview of Philosophy

Philosophy is a subject that the many pseudo-intellectuals of /lit/ pretend to have knowledge of when they really have no idea what they're saying. Philosophy-majors, and people who have an interest in philosophy in general, are some of the most pretentious douchebags you will ever meet.

Typical comment from a pretentious asshat who just learned of Plato's forms:

"You know that desk you're sitting in? Well...it's not really there..."

Such is the douchefaggotry that takes a hold of many people with interests in philosophy. So it is in your best interest to ignore everything on this page except for this overview.
